after a while, the sounds blend in with the shooting and explosions and all you end up looking out for is which teammate is hurt the most by looking at which med call is the most red and if they are a priority.

personally, I like the "Medic!" callout because it tells me who needs immediate healing.

I main medic and i literally stopped after some time, i literally started hearing medic callouts in my dreams and explosions and i had horrible sleep a whole week. Crazy how even games can have effects on you.
