I was in a reading slump in July, the month of August was an amazing one for me! Yes, I know the feeling when you miss reading but actually can't focus on it, and feeling somewhat miserable bc some important part of your life is vanished and you have no idea for how long it'll be wandering in some unknown mysterious place 🤔... And all I have to do is just to wait for the right book happening in my hands and for the right state of my mind suddenly perking up! There were a couple of that kind of books that helped me to get rid of my reading slump:
The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse by Charlie Mackesy (4.5)
and the first book (I gave it 4 stars) in the Broken Hearts & Revenge series by Katie Finn! I was having such a fun time with all the books in this summer series! :)
They were wonderful recommendations from lovely Booktubers I follow and love to watch too: Sara at Sara's Reading Nook and Kat at TheBookishKat 🙂
