They can't. They dont have the authority. They do not have the constitutional power or authority over the states. People need to remember the foundation this Republic was founded on. Its the individual states that Govern themselves. Its the individual states that make and have the power over the federal government. Not the federal government that makes the states. Its also the federal governments constitutional responsibility to protect its citizens and the continental borders and if the federal government will not then the states will do it. Texas should be suing the federal government and the people in DOJ should be arrested immediately for not following their oath they took when they took their position to defend and follow the constitution.
