I'm not really an EDC guy, but... I bought the Chrome Mini Kadet strictly because it was the only bag exactly the thirteen inch range, which makes it the perfect size to carry around my Freewrite Traveler, but small enough to fit in my locker at work. (I have a fifteen inch laptop, which will not fit in the locker, but the Mini Kadet and the Traveler will.)

At first I was a little daunted by the price, but it was the perfect size and it's very high quality. I recommend it.

Cool selections you all have got. I've been using a Chrome hip pouch and the mini kadet for a few months. I really really like the hip pouch. Don't like the mesh pockets in it but it's spacious enough for an insert. The kadet mini is ok. I wish it had a stabilizer strap but I added one. It is comfortable though and holds just enough for a quick trip or as a cap for my roll top backpack.
