Culturing Microorganisms Calculations for AQA GCSE Biology for Triple Science

In this GCSE Biology video lesson we look at the idea that bacteria multiply by simple cell division (binary fission) as often as once every 20 minutes if they have enough nutrients and a suitable temperature.
We describe how uncontaminated cultures of microorganisms an be used for investigating the action of disinfectants and antibiotics.
