TLDR: There is basically no difference with current drivers and no reason to turn it on, but maybe in the future.

You guys need to reconsider some of your data visualization and presentation. Seeing frame after frame of near-identical stacked bar graphs flash past leaves the eyes pretty dazzled and makes it hard to absorb the information. If you want to present percentile and average data, box plots would be a way more readable format, and you should also consider pacing the script slightly slower to give the audience more time to read. Alternatively, you can plot the data (fps, temperature, what have you) over time under load, and it's easier for the eyes to pick out the low points and high points of each line.

The thing that was missed on this video: Scheduling gives near-fullscreen performance to games that are being run in windowed mode at the cost of performance for the secondary windows.

I have a dual monitor setup and absolutely despise running my games in true fullscreen due to very frequently needing to tab over to other windows. For instance, running a game on my primary at 1440p on a 1080 (no TI) has gained anywhere from 10-25 FPS across the board, but will drop things like firefox to 3-4 FPS and introduce heavy tearing on my secondary monitor; but only while the game is in focus. Tabbing over, the secondary windows gains full priority and speed.

"Faster Gaming for FREE in 2 minutes - No… Seriously
"- Really? Didn't we have a couple of outright apology videos regarding clickbait titles a little while back?
It's not two minutes (Right, fair enough, but...)
It's a performance hit in just about every 'normal people' scenario, and a significant hit in gaming scenarios that are expected to be CPU bound. The end result appears to be "This could help speed up certain tasks, in certain very specific configurations, under certain circumstances, but on average will cost you significant performance under an average to mid-high-end setup running current software".
I'm not saying I didn't like the content, but the posted title is totally out of line with the content. Disappointing.

Edit: The title has been changed, the new title now reads: "Faster Gaming for FREE - Hardware GPU Scheduling Explained" - Entirely acceptable.
To be clear, my objection was not on the content of the video, but on the content as represented by the title. The new title, while still eye-catching, is both informative as to the content and does not make claims that it has difficulty backing up.

I like the part where it's "piled onto a single core" 1:34 and they show a core that's barely running when there's the core0 sweating it's ass off lmao

So I found this in the display settings yesterday and enabled it on my 12900K/3090 KP build, running Lost Ark at 4K max settings... I am not exaggerating here, it DOUBLED my frame rate.
I went from 118-120fps all the way to ~260. My GPU warmed up to a cozy 56C with the stock hybrid cooler, and the power draw went from 320w to about 450w. This is seriously so good I couldn't believe it was legitimate without testing a few different configurations... it really is the scheduler that is making all the difference. I'd recommend anyone at least trying it out.

Having the charts for hw scheduling off & on, on the same page, would increase the understandability of this video a lot
