Made this recipe today. Loved it although i accidentaly used only one cup of cream because of different measurements here in EU.
The icecream was a bit icy after freezing it. Is this normal?

This was the best icecream i have ever made and tasted

Pouring that mix into a non running machine will haunt you some day when it instantly flash freezes on the drum walls and you can't put the dasher (not "paddle") inside!
