From what I've seen from other videos, Ibara's special perk opens the box that quickly at all levels. Upgrading it just makes the effect last longer. So you could still have that perk active by the time the second box drops if you level it up enough.

Now that you've explained it, the perk system doesn't seem so bad. It actually gives you something to work towards. I still dislike that the quirk sets have the best abilities and extra stats and would like a way for the f2p players to get those characters so that they don't have to be locked behind the gacha.

But overall, it looks really fun.

Thank god because I was definetely among the people that were panicking.

I feel like if you do not have a PUR costume, you can still make a build for them. It will not be as strong, but its easier to make and uses way less resources, meaning that it will at least help you at some level. Of course you want to upgrade as soon as possible, but if you missed Mt. Lady's one PUR skin, you can still invest some time on her if you really want to.

I really like the perks they make the game feel a bit more fresh and give me something to work towards other than tickets just my thoughts

I still hate how messy the system is, costumes having seemingly random slots, and just how many currencies and resources you have to grind for, just seems so pay to win. It feels like the custom loadout/perks system could have been so simple, even if it was in the gacha or battle pass, or actual support items like dekus gauntlets related to costumes so that costumes have value, or are just better designed or themed. I just hate that there is a potential for metas based on costumes like ugly hot pink bakugo.

Character memories/data is rsndom dropped so have fun with that everyone!

However every matvh gives you Character data tickets which is actually nice so you can use then instead of data as a secondary purchase (basically fills the rest you dont have)

ALSO PR GEAR IS INFACT BETTER, however the tunning keys required go from 1 to a 50 so sometimes its better to use a less rarity costume then a high one

I honestly hate this system so much. This is literally the worse thing they could have added in my opinion.

I do like the special tunning skills since they add depth to gameplay which is nice, but it shouldn't be like this.

22:53 I think the levels just make the effects last longer. I have lvl 3 for supply drop and it opened just as fast but doesn't last a long time.
