This tutorial illustrates the estimation of crystallinity (%) in the given nano material based on its X-ray diffraction (XRD) data by using Origin computer program.
Area under each curve for miller plane (h k l) indices in the XRD graph can be estimated by integration method.
Then the total area is calculated by the same integration method.
Crystallinity (%) = [Σ (Area under each curve) x 100] / Total area.
It also calculates the Full Width at Half Maxima (FWHM) for each peak in the XRD graph.
