I lived in Istanbul for two years and did some traveling around...I just loved it and miss it. Every now and again, just out of nowhere I get a pang for it. I always thank Turkey and the people there for making my time so beautiful.

Actually it is not a huge surprise, Turks speak Turkish which is very original for 1300~ years. The huge mistake is to think that the Turks speak arabic.
btw PKK is not a political party, it is a group not formal for Turkey or also for Iraq diplomatically. Thank you for the video and funny facts :D specially about EU procces of Turkey. I enjoyed so much :D (lastly I like how u pronunce "ç, ş, c..etc" they were uncorrect but cute :D) Ellerine sağlık!

When somebody says "Its big as 3 football fields I really don't know is it big or regular, or small. My head refuses to accept football field as measuring unit.

I went to Turkey in1975 and found it both pleasant and interesting. Currently I help a government translator who renders Turkish, Russian and Bulgarian official documents into English (I just help her correct the English, not the original languages).

Sam is ~183 cm in height, cuz 1715km is 1715000m, and if we divide it by the number if would take for him to cover Turkey's coast, we get 1715000÷642697=~1.83
