Biffa, makes a massive cycle route and then destroys it.

A lot of walking paths over the road were eliminated.
The highway off-ramps have a higher speed than the avenue, so that may have encouraged off-on behavior.

Wow, this sure was a challenge. That policy boosting people to arrive was absolutely nuking everything. So many roundabouts deleted but yeah, with Vanilla is harder to make them work and dedicated lanes can only be achieved by increasing or decreasing the number of lanes. No Hugo either to help you. I would love to see you fixing this city with mods though. Incredible feat, Biffa. Congratulations 👍👏

You remembered how you won the Metropolis Challenge two years ago! You went all out with converting every road into a bicycle road. The number of cyclists went way up. Oh, and you only had 30 minutes to pull it off!

Congrats Biffa! This was so fun to watch this scenario! I wish there were more “realistic” scenarios of towns and buildings and things like this. Building a city in a blank empty wilderness can be fun but I like this kind of challenge!

All of this was a fun watch. All your asymmetrical road fixes at the end were helping in the long run with the overpasses so not everyone was heading through the intersections, but also making the bicyclers that had been using they highway bicycle lanes have to stop and turn back around, so probably a lot of the loss as you were doing that was folks going back to their cars. But you did manage to make it in the end, so definite congratulations.

Congratulations! That really felt impossible for the vast majority of the time, especially with how claustrophobic that main highway was from the start. I'm guessing you made it with 40ish weeks to spare? I don't normally enjoy scenarios as much as the playthrough vids but this one was challenging and complex enough to have me hooked the whole way through 🏆 (Also the slightly earlier video fitted into my day perfectly, not sure if that was accidental but thank you 😁)

Wow that was nuts! I've seen some people not quite make it - was cheering along as you went with the bike lanes everywhere! On a totally side note, I really liked seeing how much of that water pollution you cleaned up!

As you can add the underground roads, I’d go max with it and draw in two parallel and separate highways underneath the city with links in between and have access points popping up in key places in the city. Take the weight off the main highway on top…. :).

If this traffic challenge teaches anything, it's the same wrong thing vanilla traffic always teaches: "throw more lanes at it and the red will go away". :/

Absolutely brilliant! You are so good with traffic even in vanilla which tries to be impossible 🤩If you had the mods that make it more realistic, you could have done it in no time!
