Retiring - Last day of employment is 9/6/22. I’m keeping my company GHP. I’ll be 66.5. Do I still have 8 mos. to file forms L564 & 40B? I’d like to continue looking for a long term solution because the GHP is really expensive. I’d like to add a supplement plan and discontinue the GHP - all of this can happen in the 8 mo. window. Thank you for your knowledge and effort to provide these videos.

At 4:48, you stated a couple of times that we should not attempt to come in to Medicare more than 8 months after that employer coverage . Do you mean ? I just want to be sure I understand. Thank you for your help!!!

If someone enrolled in medicare part A only, 1 month prior to turning 65 but decided to also enroll in part B 1 month after turning 65 are these or any other forms needed when enrolling in part B while it's still within the 7 months initial enrollment period?

Just want to make sure, if I am already getting my Social Security I will automatically be enrolled in A and B when I turn 65? I still have 1.5 years before 65 but already receive my SS check every month. Thanks for any help.
