His lightsaber is a work of art. Really reflected how much better things were during the days of the High Republic. Lightsaber designs in the prequel era looked more… pragmatic.

I was really hoping this guy would be an unlikely ally against the empire whose dark nature would gradually come to the surface culminating in a climactic confrontation at the end. Instead he is evil right off the bat and stays that way until the very end. Kind of a bummer in terms of having an interesting villain.

When I saw this guy in the teasers, I thought that he would wake up, Cal would tell him about the Empire and how the Order fell, and he would be confused, disoriented, and frustrated. He'd at first be an ally to Cal, but after learning about how few Jedi there were, and how overwhelming the power of the Empire was, he would fall to the Dark Side in a desperate bid to be as powerful as his enemies, turning him against Cal. Instead, he's just kinda an asshole from the get-go

When I first played this I thought he was saying “Yes” to fighting with cal against the empire then he said the rest of the line

My one big disappointment with the game is how they sidelined Dagan at the end. He was a pretty interesting character and I found his motivations to be pretty similar to Anakin, I thought he was gone get fleshed out more but he suddenly gets taken out of the story and replaced as the main villain. No hate towards Bode but I could see the twist coming from a mile away and he never felt like he properly fit into the story.

I really liked him as a character, I just wish they did more with him insteed of just making him 'that one evil guy'.

I figured Degan would turn, but I didn't expect him to wake up, bleed his crystal, and immediately start trying to kill Cal. Its like he was speedeunning lol. It gets glossed over how insane it must have been for Cal to find a living relic of the High Republic Order and then it all turned to shit immediately. Talk about a roller coaster of emotion.

I like how dagan’s saber’s bled crystal seems a bit more orange-red than just red

Maybe cause it was originally Yellow so the colors mixed, since hes still a jedi, hes just pissed

I saw this whole thing and played through this fight for the first time last night. (Playing on JM) The score that fires up once Dagan ignites his lightsaber just before the fight was bone chilling.

I know the double bladed lightsaber was faster and all that, but honestly my favorites were the split and crossguard stances. Those hit hard.
