Loved the Alarm. Gave early 80s music in my school a right kick up the arse!
Fab live, the Boston gig is still available and sounds so raw.
God bless you Mike. Say hi to Pepsi Tate for me please.

The Alarm were a great band and I had the absolute joy and pleasure of seeing them back in the day, they were truly great nights. One particular gig which was a great night was at The Leadmilll in Sheffield what a night!
Rest In Peace Mike and Thank you.

Great Anthem. Timeless. My 19 year old jams out to this with me and I am 59.

My second gig was 40 years ago today at Norwich UEA - The Alarm supported by Faith Brothers. Still the loudest gig I have experienced and one of the best gigs I have ever attended; the energy was off the chart. RIP Mike, 68 Guns will never die.

I met him at the Coachhouse in San Juan cap in CA, and we talked and he asked me how I was and he meant it. He seemed like such a gentle man, like he didn’t belong with the rest of us. Just how I perceived him in the few minutes he gave me in conversation. I hope this music stays alive. It deserves too.

Wonderful man. It’s a cruel fate that such a lovely soul was afflicted with so much pain.

68 guns will never die! I saw Mike a number of times in the alarm back in the day in Colchester, when he did his one-man show and most recently last November in Peterborough again doing a one-man show of alarm songs. It was a very moving night and Mike as usual was amazing. Love hope and strength, your music lives on Mike. R.I.P

My father was from Swansea, but I saw The Alarm in Toronto at "Larry's Hideaway" in The 80s. I was mesmerized by their presence. They came on stage, and all four guys came to the front of the stage, in a line, playing their jangling guitars. So fantastic!!!

Mike Peters has always come across as one of the nicest guys in the music business. Hopefully he's doing ok with his latest bout with cancer. Wishing him all the best.
