Tennis Doctor videos illustrate what to do and what NOT to do. Phenomenal technique and Meticulous illustrations make these videos second to none.

This is top notch, advice from an actual pro, rather than all these amateurs on YouTube

GREAT VIDEO. Three takeaways for me: 1) follow through with the shoulder and Not the elbow. 2) Twist the feet while in motion. 3) the chest points to the target. Thank you Vincent.

Great video. I have watched a lot of other forehand videos, but I like how simple and straightforward you make it. The shoulder turn is also a great tip. Will try and implement your guide to fix my forehand.

Thank you for great instructions. After watching perhaps 30 different tennis coaches on YT you're the only one with the feeling for instructing/coaching and who's able to show us the details in slow motion. Keep on doing a great job :)

just getting back into tennis after having not played in a rec league in about 7 years. came across your channel and love your clarity and teaching style. every movement is well explained without over doing it. keep up the great work! subbed

That's actually brilliant. Likewise, I've watched so many other teaching videos, but none has really pinpointed the important points in separate steps in the way you do it. I spend time on tennis walls a bit, and I will watch this video (together with your others, spec. the 1handed backhand) then apply the individual steps slowly meticulously until I get the movement exactly right. Then put everything together and hit like 1 gazillion shots. See if this doesn't ramp up my game. thanks Vincent!

Great vid, I knew there was something wrong with my forehand after watching vids of my self. Then I studied atp vids and thought my pat the dog was wrong but coaches and other vids kept talking about the flash light.

Thank you for clarifying doubts.

Man, I like your videos, you go straight to the point, my forehand has improved a lot by applying your advices such as : throwing your arm completely relaxed like it's dead and distance to the ball !

Wouhawww, better than all the slow motions I have ever seen.
Thanks,

Best tennis coach on the internet by far! Strange how some of the more popular internet coaches are much worse than you.

Great tips, ive taught for many years same points. Windscreen wiper also but what about Djokovic forehand, palm down forehand (you say patting dog) but pretty much always finishes over the shoulder not catching below. Many players finish with left hand to the left around shoulder height and the racket over the shoulder and dont catch below shoulder. ive found over the last years just letting it go keeps it more loose and relaxed eg sinner.

Is it possible to have a big, modern forehand with an eastern grip ?

Great job! I will go practice on a wall shortly! What's the grip you use for this? Semi western (index finger on 3rd -4th bevel)?
