I wouldn't mind the price if I could also use them as Joy-Cons, I need extra Joy-Cons for Super Mario Party anyways.
But if these are strictly for playing NES games on the switch than 60 bucks is ridiculously overpriced, wtf Nintendo..

For the people complaining about the NES Controllers prices, keep in mind, these controllers are not the USB ones you can plug in to your Console. *WHICH IS COMPATIBLE* with the Nintendo Switch!

These Controllers are essentially Joycons in the shape of a NES Controller using Joycon Hardware, that's why it's so expensive!

If you want a cheap NES Controller, just use the USB NES Controller that comes with the NES Classic for the Switch! They are compatible too! And Cheap! :P

Not worth it for me, but I can understand why some would buy it.

One of my fondest memories from my early childhood was my parents playing Super Mario Bros on the NES with me.

If I had children, I would definetly like to share the experience of using that controller while playing NES classics that I still love to this day.

Cool on Nintendo, but I bought my Switch for its portability. Every accessory I have for my Switch must be able to fit into the small carrying case I purchased. If it doesn't, then its not needed.

I make the exception for my gamecube controller adapter and the gamecube controller. Have to be ready for Smash Bros, duh!

Oh... So that's why Nintendo went after all the Rom sites and forced them to be taken down.. So they can make more money off us by selling us roms on the Switch.

A $60 pair of controllers bound and limited to one account? What if they break, how am I supposed to buy new ones if these fail and you limit the purcase to 1 per account?
