You Try Saying 'Lord Lloyd Webber'

Andrew Lloyd Webber explains what he gets passionate about as a member of the House Of Lords.

Apparently got passionate about music and arts. He also got passionate about cutting benefits to low income workers in the UK, so passionate that he flew in from America to vote for the cuts.

He neglected to mention that he recently flew back to London (first class) to vote on cutting tax aid to millions of low-wage British workers. So I'd say having to say "Lord Lloyd Webber" isn't really a nightmare, not being able to afford to feed your kids or pay for utilities at the end of the month THAT is a nightmare.

Andrew Lloyd Webber is a horrible man, he has never voted in the House of Lords before but as soon as they try and slow down the cut in working tax credits, Webber comes over here and, for the first time, votes to make the poor poorer, disgusting behaviour, he should be ashamed

Webber's point that "you don't find music in extremist Islamic schools" received a chilly response but is 100% spot on.

I worked at the "sink" school that he is talking about. It was rated "Outstanding" by Ofsted before his scheme was introduced and students had regularly gone on to study at top universities including Imperial College (UK's equivalent of MIT), UCL and King's as well as Oxford. The student he is talking about just happened to be the first to go to Oxford to study music and the reason she was able to do so was because she was talented, hard-working and she had the backing of an excellent headteacher and assistant headteacher in charge of Music and the performing arts.
