I hate to see people lose their job, but he just wasn't ready for the DC job. The defense looked uninspired at times and collapsed the last three games. A change had to be made.

49ers need another DC like Saleh or Demeco ryans, make the defense tough and scary and dominant, is Pat Willis, maybe Richard sherman, if he would like to coach, maybe get some experience at being a defensive coordinator and get advice, someone who has been good with defenses

Honest question - why would anyone be fine with Sorenson as ST coordinator? Granted there aren't nearly as many in-game adjustments that need to be made on special teams compared to defense, but the defense this year just did not look well prepared overall. So why would anyone expect him to have special teams players more prepared? Plus his one year of doing it in jacksonville was...bad.
