Russia's nuclear capabilities again take centre stage. The Russian President said Russia has successfully tested the Burevestnik, a nuclear missile designed to keep adversaries awake at night, especially the USA. It is touted to hit targets as far as the United States. Watch this video for more.

I do not know why everyone is freaking out about this missile and how far it can travel. Russia probably already have subs parked right outside of NYC/DC and US has missile parked near Russia's coastlines. Bottomline, Russia and U.S. had nukes that can destroy the world serval times over since the 60s.
One of the main reason Russia is at war with Ukraine is possibility of Ukraine joining NATO. By joining, NATO can have missile and other weapons on Russia's border.
The last time U.S. and Russia came close to war was the Cuban missile crisis in the 60's where Russia was in the process of sending nuclear missiles to Cuban (U.S. backdoor).
So, the U.S. should understand Putin's position about having Ukraine joining NATO. I do not think Putin should have gone to war where, like all wars, innocent people dies.

Think about this, the biggest nuke's used by the USA is 1.2 megatons, and the biggest nuke's used by Russia is 100 megatons. And in general Russia likes it's nuke's to be in the 5 to 20 megaton range, where as the USA only uses tinnie tiny nuke's under 1.2 megatons.

So given that both sides have around 1500 nuke's ready to go, who has more firepower???

Simply put the USA is totally outgunned by Russia.
