Baylor Department of Geosciences

Geosciences is an integrative and eclectic subject area within the natural sciences, and as such, students may have an opportunity to integrate knowledge from other sciences such as Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics, as well as information from Engineering and Computer Science, Anthropology, and other areas into their curriculum and research.

We offer a Bachelor of Science degree in Geosciences with several concentration areas, and both the Master of Science and Ph.D. degree in Geology. Our current Faculty size and student bodies ensure that students will have ready access to Faculty for supplemental classroom instruction and research mentoring.
