Elfette Saves Christmas: Official Trailer (A Feature Film)

Elfette Saves Christmas is a holiday feature film that the whole family can enjoy. When the New York Mafia, hungry for holiday profits, captures Santa Claus (Quinton Aaron - “The Blind Side”), one not-so-ordinary Elf must journey to the Big Apple to save him. This holiday movie will be coming in 2019!

While Elfette is vacationing in sunny Florida, the Mafia infiltrates the North Pole, putting all of the elves in a deep freeze. Now thousands of miles away she must use the Sacred Twinkle to outsmart the Mafia goons who will stop at nothing to get her. Enlisting the help of an undercover elf, Sparkle (Alea Figueroa - HBO’s “Ballers”), the two road-trip across the country with a series of trials-by-fire inspired by classic holiday films. I was thinking about watching this movie right now. But the title didn't interest me, so I thought I'd come see the trailer first. It all looked good apart from the Maffia. I hate Christmas movies that are ROMANTIC, so what would that say about me liking Christmas movies with the maffia in it lol. I still don't know if I wanna watch it

I'm just so tired of of most of these movies now taking away from the TRUE meaning of Christmas (although I have seen a few Christian/Christmas ones that I loved). Romance is bad enough but the MAFFIA?!

Should you watch this movie? REVIEW. There are far more good actors than bad in it, but there are some bad ones. The main villain is top notch and hopefully this movie doesn't ruin his chances going forward. The two female elf leads do a lot with very little. The black Santa is just out of place and is never explained why he is all of a sudden African instead of Turkish (St. Nicholas) or pasty white (Finland/North Pole/Lapland), his acting doesn't match the tone of the film. Speaking of the tone of the film, now that is a mess. Visually it's a kid's movie like Elf or Santa Conquers the Martians, but there are some full on adult jokes that will leave kids or people not from the East Coast scratching their heads (New Jersey gas pumping laws). Back to acting and casting, there are two fellows who are terribly miscast by being young when they should be really old and grey who are the Alice in Wonderland drop ins of mad scientist meets Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum, and they make as little sense here as they do in Alice. The plot is simple but not empty of useless twists.

So should you see it? I love Christmas movies and will watch all of them (except those new CGI ones from an indy guy who cranks out three to five each winter those are pathetic and awful, ) but if it has a a good story I will gladly stay to the end regardless of acting etc. This does NOT have a good story that makes sense or is anywhere near Christmas plausible and the adult humor just trashes it for kids, and adults (who don't love/obsess on Christmas movies) will find little reason to fight to make it to the end. Like all good car wrecks we watch hoping everyone will be fine in the end but sometimes they bring out the body bags. This film is in one of those bags.

If you know the actors, go ahead and watch, almost all of them did a fine job. If you are a normal person looking for a Christmas movie for you or the kids, this will leave you scratching your head not filling your Christmas movie sweet tooth.
