We were once playing galli cricket in school and I was the runner. The injured batsman was so involved in chatting with the umpire that he totally forgot that he as batting. It was only after I played 4 deliveries that he realized his absence of mind.

The injure batsman gets out or we'll go with the runners?

Runners no longer allowed in international matches. Though can be used in national first class and club cricket at the discretion of the competition rules. (so it is up to the specific rules of the competition whether to allow runners or not in national leagues and knock out games)

Runners are not allowed in international matches. Not 100% sure about 1st grade/representative but definitely not in international.

Bro, i have a doubt, if the striker and striker's runner reached the non stickers end for the 1st run. Then for the second run striker's runner only reached the striker end. But the striker is still in the non striker end inside the crease. So finally the striker's runner only in the striker's end, striker and non striker in the non striker's end. But all are inside the crease. Is the Stricker OUT for any reason?
