Benedict comberbatch's voice as Smaug is priceless

It’s mind boggling to me that Saphira from Eragon wasn’t featured, The cgi for that time period was absolutely insane

We need an origin story of how the world once lived in peace with the Titans, exploring the Ancient Titan Wars, King Ghidorah came to Earth and encounters Toho Kaijus like Anguirus, it’s encounter with Godzilla and how the False King is imprisoned in ancient Antarctica.

I was kinda hoping that the dragon from the Merlin series would make an appearance somewhere on this list since he was a guide to the titular character and voiced by the late John Hurt. Oh well

Charizard may not be dragon type but whenever someone thinks of dragon inspired Pokemon he will always be the first one to come to mind

People probably aren’t very familiar with either of the dragons in the “Merlin” series because it was BBC. But they both had really important interactions with some of the human characters and each had their own (tragic) story. The special effects were not top-shelf, but when you have John Hurt as your dragon’s voice, it packs a punch!

The second i saw Toothless in the thumbnail i knew i had to watch this one! and i'm happy to see that Toothless made the top 2! dragons are easily an absolute favorite of many in terms of fantasy creatures!!!

Good list, but I am a little disappointed that Ran and Shaw from Avatar the Last Airbender were not included. Although they were only in one episode, their scene was such a huge moment for the lead characters and the show.

I have been obsessed with dragons for over 17 years now, and I will continue to adore and cherish them for the rest of my life. They are such beautiful and majestic creatures.

1. Drogon only being number 9 is embarrassing
2. THE FACT THAT TOOTHLESS IS NOT NUMBER ONE IS UNFORGIVABLE

Okay so it’s by far from the best dragon movie but personally, I really enjoyed the Eragon movie and think Saphira ranks as one of my top favorite dragons!

I would honestly have the "Fire Masters" on this list from Avatar the Last Airbender. There had been talk of dragons and spirit dragons, but it was always implied they were all extinct. Seeing dragons in the flesh for the first time in that show was very cool and stunning. Its one of the best moments.
