Yes! First time I heard was from the movie Poison Ivy starring Alyssa Milano. Her character was from Kalamazoo, because of her, I never forgot that name, Kalamazoo! 😊

I miss the city and working there...done a lot of construction projects on campus and around city...trying to get back to Kalamazoo...soon.

Yes, I lived and got 3 degrees from WMU. I liked the Zoo but enough was enough. Moved on to get my MBA and PhD from other universities. Remembered the Zoo with love.💓🌹
