It’s a welcoming law, unless it’s not restricting ppl who are changing their belief on their own without being subjected to malicious ways. Many follow Christ even though their documents says they are Hindus.

Hey wait a minute....it's not prohibiting conversation from marriage if it is done with the ganuine will of both parties... without any malafide intention of either of the person getting married...it is not restricting to right to choose partner it is clearly prohibiting just the people taking advantage of intercaste marriage to convert a person....

In simple terms this law doesn't contravine the quat "miya bivi razi to kya karega kazi" it just says that if the marriage is intercaste then the miya bivi will have to give consent to magistrate
And if it is without consent and then if after marriage either of party is being abused after marriage then law will punish the one in guilty.

I am against BJP, but I think this law is one of the revolutionary laws in the history of India.

This is very necessary for those people who think that we'll convert the poor hindus in exchange of rice bags, or those who can fake their muslim identity and later ask to convert, Love jihad is real, Well I do believe that every person has the right to choose their life partner, but madam let me tell you, you are concerned about a person not able to marry his/ her love coz of faith, but why faith should be a barrier for love, in fact before such marriage in the courtship stage, every thing is open and clear, but why ask to convert for marrying, can't you accept the other person along with his / her faith ??, Personally I believe that if you faith is that important, than marry your own faith, doesn't it sound good, isn't this as well a clause for liberty and right to equality.

We all know this is not coz liberty has been hurt, it's coz the agenda of the missionaries and the islamists has been hurt, and the extreme liberal is hurt coz of this, well by supporting some kind of religious extremism you yourself is violating your faith named socialism, which strongly opposes any kind of religious thinking

Right to chose ones partner is not violated through this. You can marry someone from any religion without coverting your own religion.

The law was already there. Conversion takes in thinking, but testicles remain in same place. Hindu dharma is merely a drama. BJP has heavily invested on Anti-congress and Anti-conversion. Laws are made and changed for the wellbeing of citizens, the matter is not as simple as explained in this video. There are innumerable examples of forceful conversions after deceitful marriage (love jihad) also murder in many of such cases. Mere articles of constitution, made for the wellbeing of citizens, should not come in the way to protect such future victims from such crime and need to be suitably modified to accommodate the anti convertion law
