This song “We Are Called” is based on the Biblical Scripture Micah 6:8 which says, “He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly, to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.”

This scripture text simply invites us all to live out our faith in God and expressing it in action. After we have been saved by Jesus Christ through faith, the only way that we can thank God is to offer our lives by doing God’s will and purpose. In the midst of a lot of challenges in our lives, health- Covid 19 pandemic, graft and corruption in our government and society, the rampant injustices and human rights violations of our people, hunger, unequal and unjust treatment of workers in various work places in our society, and many more… God reveals His desire for His people to experience change, righteousness, justice, mercy, love, and humility for all humanity! Therefore, as Christians we are called to do all these! We are called to bring about light and hope to the masses in this changing times. This is the light and hope that we should bring to all! May we be moved to action as we meditate on the message of this song… “We are Called”!
