Maybe I'm not good at haggling but I think the prices you paid were good.10$ for the compact was awesome. I don't know how old the pillow purse was but it's gorgeous! They say if YOU love it and it's worth it, then it's worth the money you paid!

I'm terrible at haggling! I'm autistic so I have loads of trouble figuring out all the people not saying what they mean stuff. Generally if someone says a price I think is too high I just say oh that's too much for me and move on. Sometimes that does work though because people think it's a tactic and lower the price.

I remember in the 1970 Perfume would include Talc with the same scent. It would include a lovely soft Puff Applicator. Id use it after body lotion or on damp skin after a shower. I will google to learn if any brands still make perfumed talc

This is so funny, my mom used to own an antique store and we had that exact lipstick tray display for year and still do but they use it now in their bar area - I have so much more appreciation for these items than I ever did as a kid the quality of them, beauty, craftsmanship all of it

Just an FYI, you shouldn’t store any liquid long term in crystal because it can leech lead into the liquid over time ! It’s only safe to occasionally use crystal for temporary liquid storage. Like drinking from a crystal wine glass on a rare occasion is safe but storing wine in a crystal decanter for a long period of time and drinking from it frequently is not safe !

I love Flea Markets and garage sales!! My dad loved them to and we would always go together. He gave me some good advice and I always stick to it. If the person doesn’t want to haggle then it’s a no go. He loved to haggle it was his favorite part. I miss him

With the vintage makeup container you can switch out the makeup container part (not sure what it's called). Thats what they did back then. Just bought small compacts and put them inside in containers^^
Its more sustaible then makeup now a days and you don't have to trow away all the plastic packaging
