Independence Day was celebrated at Brigade Gardenia by hoisting the national flag at 8:45am by Mr.Mahadeva Jois who is a resident of Carinata Block. This was followed by a fancy dress show and dance by the kids of Gardenia. At the last, there was a medley of singing and dance by the uncles, aunties and kids of Brigade Gardenia. Beautiful tricolor flood lights were setup near the B block fountain area in the evening to mark the day.
