This is all very festive and all but, you CAN'T REMAKE a CLASSIC!
Why Hollywood keeps recreating CLASSIC films is beyond me - I could never watch this movie but, even at my age I would happily sit back and re-watch the 1982 Annie film that was directed by John Huston and starred Aileeen Quinn & Carol Burnett! What a timeless movie that was. I hope parents of today still show their children the original 1980s movies that they grew up with!
