The plaintiff and defendant used to be friends for 20 years. She let the defendant register a car in her name, but he racked up an immense amount of parking tickets. She’s suing for the cost of the tickets. The defendant argues he paid the tickets, and he thinks the plaintiff is suing him for what she actually owes in tickets.
