I believe there’s a God in the Universe. Many people have died, and they all describe the same things (w slight differences) but usually they are above the body, they feel more real when they’re there than here, tunnel, very bright light, a beautiful place, and sometimes other beings, and a God, or an intelligence. There’s over a million people who have had this experience. Some of them brain surgeons, anesthesiologists, scientists, etc. people who were atheists. Many people who are dying have a vision of a man in white. Sometimes they’re healed, and sometimes they go with someone. I BELIEVE. I was Atheist for many years. They're chariot wheels my friend. The Jews call this the Merkabah vision, meaning YHWH(God) on his chariot throne. The context is a jew(Ezekiel) writing to Jews in exhile in Babylon. Cherubim carry God's chariot throne. The 4 faces of the cherubim are the 4 faces of the babylonian cardinal directions (N, S, E, W) Ezekiels point is God is still on His throne and he controls the world(N, S, E, W.) Not the false gods of Babylon. If you repent and cry out to him, He will come and deliver you. The Old Testament has to be read through an ancient Near-Eastern Semitic filter not a 21st Century one. This is a theological message not a mechanical and scientific one.
