True Story From Me Playing Planetside 2:
I took off from the warpgate in my mosquito, headed towards The Crown. Then I found myself in the middle of a massive air battle between both enemy factions, and the only allies i had with me was another mosquito. Seeing no way of escaping this battle, we rushed in, ambushing the enemy scythes and reavers. after the battle raged on for a while, the other ally mosquito was shot down by an AA gun. Then, shortly after, i ran out of ammo. Seeing no way out, since if i tried to run i would be shot down by one of them folllowing me, i decided to take one last enemy aircraft with me, so after spotting a severely damaged NC galaxy, i rammed into it head on, blowing up my mosquito, but also destroying the enemy Galaxy

He banked to the right as he heard the rounds clip his left wing. Just ten minutes before he was on the carrier USS Washington. Then he was deployed to go and counter a Japanese air attack on the battleship USS Utah. He saw his best friend crash into the sea without bailing before the crash. That is when he decided to unleash the full power and strength of his F6F Hellcat. He Shot down 17 Japanese aircraft that day. He only wished once he landed back on the Washington that his friend was here to celebrate his achievement. 
RIP all those who fell in battle during WWII. You lost men and women are hero's who will never be forgotten.

True story ( With some added bits ;) ), from Warthunder, a WWII combat simulator.

I had taken off from the airfield to the south of Berlin, having had my orders to fight to the last man to defend it. My best friend was ahead of me for take off, the take off was uneventful, we proceeded to target. Me and him looked out for eachother, so when we engaged, he'd lead and I'd follow. We shot down a few American planes, and I noticed we'd become seperated by quite a bit (8 clicks). I banked to fly towards him, a plane (I didn't catch what it is)  passed at me, shot my left wing up, then flew off. I continued my flight towards my buddy, around 4 clicks away, I noticed an American plane going after him, closing fast. An A20. I warned him over the radio, he acknowledged. He turned to attack the A20, I was only 2 clicks away, now. He shot at the A20, did some minor damage. The A20 shot at him, and missed. He turned to avoid a collision, I was behind the A20 now. The A20 turned and followed my buddy, lined up, and loaded him with hot lead. I saw his engine catch on fire, his plane go into a spin, I screamed at him over the radio to bail out, I could see him trying to regain control of the plane, and succeeding, when a passing plane (Again, didnt catch the name), lit him up with a bunch of cannons. I watched in horror as my best friend since childhood exploded in a magnificent cascade of shrapnel and flaming bits. I finished off the A20 and went turned to base for repairs to my wing. About halfway there, I heard bullets ripping through my plane, looked behind me and saw an SBD tailing me. I tried to turn, then realized I had barely any control over my plane. Using my flaps, I went into a dive, then a steep climb, trying to lose him. I cut my throttle and let him drift infront of me, I lit him up and killed his gunner. He banked quickly, I pushed my throttle back up asking for help over the radio. I heard a few more bullets hit my plane, saw oil splatter over my windshield and smelled something burning. I knew he'd scored a good hit on my engine. my fears were confirmed a few seconds later when I heard it spluttering, starting to die. I repeated my last maneuver, hoping to do more damage, no such luck. I felt a white hot flash of pain in my shoulder, and knew I was hit. I looked at the picture of my wife, and children on the glass of my plane, to the left. They were down there, in that city I was fighting to save. I shook off the pain and banked as good as I could, readjusting my course to the airfield. I heard flak start up, and knew the enemy behind me would have issues chasing me further. My engine spluttered again, and I went into a slight dive to make up for loss of power. I heard a few more bullets hit my plane, and I knew it couldn't take much more. I was only a few clicks from the airfield, now, the flak flinging rounds viciously at my pursuer. I knew he'd have to retreat soon, and he did. But first he lined up and shot me again, I heard the rounds ripping through my wing, saw it start to separate from my plane as if in slow motion. Felt twin stabbing pains in my chest, I knew it was over for me. I thought of my family as my other wing came off. As I went into a sharp nosedive, fire streaming into the cockpit from the engine. Everything felt cold, I realized the cockpit was covered in my blood. I looked at the picture of my family one last time before my plane smashed into the ground, and exploded.
