He's got the skills! I'm white and when i was in cosmetology school i love doing black hair and I did some girls hair and she sent me all her friends and cousins. They told me they were unsure but their cousins hair was done right so they gave me a chance. I felt so good that I was accepted based on my skills while my peers were scared to try.

I'm white, big STEM guy, never had an interest in cosmetology, more cosmology. but around a year ago I discovered the Black hair community and it's so fascinating and beautiful to me. all the things you can do with braids, locs, afros.... Black people get so creative with their hair, it's unbelievably cool. i'd love to learn to work with it if I had the time/energy but unfortunately with school and chronic pain and migraines all i can do is watch content creators being awesome at this
