The year was and my buddy were big time bought this on a double cassette called Time Warps. We bought it at National Record Mart (remember those?)
at the go out and get in his old Dodge Aspen. I put the cassette in.
whatever reason this double album on cassette had an extraordinarily long blank tape leader on
We start smoking a huge bowl and I reach up and hit play.
We're passing the pipe back and forth and bullshitting around and after what seemed like 5 minutes we hear these weird ass sounds and start freaking out and looking around saying, "What the F&&K is
Then it dawned on us it was the music starting (Sugar the Road intro) and we about died laughing. My buddy was convinced they did it on purpose to F**K with stoners heads.
We had lot's a moments like that. You had to be there. The 70's and 80's were a glorious time!
