I’m a black woman who wears wigs… so not really your target audience lol. But anyway I recently had a conversation about wigs with a room of white women and I didn’t realize there was so much apprehension and shame surrounding this subject. Wigs are pretty accepted in the black community regardless of the reason for wearing them. Anyway, keep doing what you’re doing. This is definitely needed content 💕

It's really sad that you felt compelled to apologize for making a video for us white girls. Polish here as well btw...born and raised😉✌🏼Thank you for making this video cause because of health issues I've been losing my hair which as I'm sure all of us ladies can say is a huuuuge deal since hair is a huge part of our personality/sexuality etc, so Ive been looking into wigs to try and feel better and videos like this really help.

I am a white woman who wears wigs. Although I watch a lot of videos about wigs from other white women, the most informative videos about wig wearing are from black women. I used to wonder why black women know so darn much about this subject and then it occurred to me that the acceptance of hair loss in that community is the answer. White women still have not accepted hair loss as a normal part of life. I don't know why. Thank you for bringing a much needed conversation to the forefront. BTW you are a beautiful young lady and I enjoy your videos very much. 🙂

Thank you so very much for making this video, finding it absolutely made my day. Complications with my mother’s health have led to significant hair loss and she’s had no idea where to begin looking. I’ve been frantically searching the net for reliable sources for wigs and info ever since she decided to turn to them. I just want her to feel as beautiful as she did before this, she doesn’t even leave the house now.

You’re an amazing person, I really can’t thank you enough for this. If I could hug you I would!

It doesn't matter what race you are, you can where a wig if you want. Don't let people bully you. You shouldn't even have to mention that.

Thank you so much for addressing the "white chick" issue. I have had wigs for 25 years but felt too self conscious to wear them out!!! 🤪 CrAzY I know. 3 of the wigs I spent spent a ton of money for came too curly for me. So thanks for being up front and candid about wigs for fair skin folks. Keep rollin' out the info!!!

Thank you for this. I Am am a Latina Irish Lebanese mix and I am amazed my the craft of wig installation by women of color omg it’s amazing how realistic and beautiful they install. I feel like wigs and toppers targeted for non textured hair are ridiculous expensive and not as realistic . I am trying to learn and appreciate this! And yes the judging WTH! I will continue to learn from both sides and I will get it right eventually lol.

For me it is not just a texture issue but as you indicated a color issue. My preferred colors are in the dark blond/ light brown range, probably not easy to find in wigs that cater to women of color. Thank you for the suggestions.

Beyond this subject ...I just started watching your videos because I'm 68 and my bang area is literally disappearing. I have wavy hair to shoulders but nothing on top. What I need to say to you is that your fidgeting drives me into a nervous tizzy. Wear clothing that is pretty but what you comfortable in. And the every other second of pushing the bang area away and just omg do you realize how often you push that hair back? I could not wear any hairstyle that needs to be forever messed with. I will say that I find your knowledge and tips and honesty very rewarding. The eyeshadow idea for blending in parts etc..I went right into my bathroom, dug out 4 colors, and filled in all the empty rows of hair from my ears to crown. It looked MARVELOUS. That idea made me feel 90% better about myself right away. Thank you sooo much

Being Caucasian, I find the light Yaki texture to be closest to my own hair because it is soft but has coarseness.

Thank you for this video love I’m Caucasian and have been looking for a wig for the past two months after chemo I got my hair back and then developed a permanent type of alopecia. I’ve been dying to get a wig but a natural one thanks for this video

Im Portuguese. My eyebrows are totally black. Its so hard to find a wig.
The colors are either too light OR too dark.
I finally found Tress Allure through *YOU*, Tia and its the one company that is working for me.
YES, there is shame when a white gal wears a wig. I dont get it.
Anyway, I pay no mind to the moonbats and just wear my wig to look purdy :)

I know one company that I'd tell white women to stay away from: Godiva Secret Wigs. Their units look so just can't!! 🌺🌷🌼

Thank you for your post. I am a white woman who enjoys wearing wigs and my collection is ever growing so thank you for this post. It is interesting the history in wig wearing for white women. In the 1960's wigs were commonly worn by white women just for style. My mom was wearing a wig for her HS senior picture! =)
