23 years old, well 24 this year and honestly this game holds such a huge place in my heart. I never even got to play the second game and I never finished this one until a year ago, can't believe I was 5 when this game came out

A very unique game that was under appreciated despite being SO ahead of its time. One of a kind experience back then.

This was the first game I got for the ps2 when it came out and I never knew how to upgrade the weapons so I made it to the dark genie only doing 1 damage to him so I gave up. Later on in my life I picked it up again and figured it out and beat the game. After that I figured out the broken dagger glitch and maxed everything out lol

And yet, Level-5 holds off on making Dark Cloud 3 but can make a ton of Yokai Watch games...

Way to rip out my soul, I love Dark Cloud as a whole...

Hah, that moment when your playing prof. Layton and the music reminds you of dark cloud... And you realise level 5 made both games! Spooky, but it shows how amazing their music production team is.

I had played over hundreds of games before I played this one and my highest playing time on any game was about 60 hours give or take. This game was the first to make me play, on my first run through, over one hundred hours and I loved every second of it.
