HOW TO MAKE BENGALI CREAMY SHRIMP MALAIKARI | BENGALI CHINGRI MALAIKARI | BENGALI PRAWN MALAIKARI | SHRIMP MALAI CURRY | SHRIMP MALAI CURRY RECIPE | CURRY GHOR SHRIMP RECIPE | CURRY GHOR RECIPE
INSTRUCTIONS:
-Washed and cleaned Shrimp 8 pieces
-Turmeric ½ tsp
-Salt to taste 1 tsp
-Red chili powder ¼ tsp
-Mix it well
-Marinate for 15 mins
-Set aside
-Oil ⅓ cup
-Marinated shrimp
-Fry for 1 min on each side on med heat
-Remove to a plate
-Same pan
-Ghee 1 tbsp
-Cinnamon
-Cardamom
-Bay leaves
-Sauté for a few secs on low heat
-Chopped onion 1 cup
-Sauté until light brown
-Onion paste ½ cup
-Sauté for 2 mins on low heat
-Ginger paste 1 tbsp
-Garlic paste 1 tsp
-Sauté for 30 secs on low heat
-Turmeric ½ tsp
-Red chili powder ½ tsp
-Salt to taste ¾ tsp
-Sauté for a few secs on low heat
-Yogurt ½ cup
-Stir on med low heat for around 2-3 mins till oil separates
-Coconut milk 350 ml
-Give it a mix
-Cover and cook for 2-3 mins on med low heat
-Fried shrimp
-Cover and cook for 3-4 mins on low heat (stir once in between)
-Flip the fishes over once
-Sugar 1 tsp
-Roasted cumin powder 1 tsp
-Green chili
-Fresh cream ½ cup
-Give it a good stir
-Cover and cook for another 2 mins on low heat
-Ready to be served
