History created by Donate life NGO: India’s First Youngest Hand Donation & Life-Saving Transplants

On Ganesh Visarjan 2024, Donate Life NGO facilitated two life-saving organ donations from 9-year-old Riya Mistry and 40-year-old Shipul Mandal in Surat. Riya’s organs, including her hands, lungs, kidneys, and liver, were donated, marking India’s youngest hand transplant. Shipul’s heart, liver, and kidneys saved lives in Surat and Ahmedabad. Green corridors by Surat Police helped in timely transport of organs and ensuring successful transplants.
