I definitely agree. The cougar wins. Everything a lynx is, the cougar is, but to a better extent. Literally, both cats run 50mph. They have the same weaponry, same defense, same stamina, and same athletic abilities, etc. However, the cougar is bigger, heavier, stronger, and has a more powerful bite. The lynx is basically fighting a more grand version of itself. The cougar wins but takes a beating in the process. If at partial, it could go either way, I think...

I’ve seen a cougar fight a Lynx before not much happened but lynxes are very brave things the cougar ran off later that day with a messed up eye and the Lynx was fine but it had some blood splotches and looked like it’s ear was torn a bit

This is a mismatch. The largest cougar was like a least 3 times the size of the largest recorded lynx. Plus equiped with huge claws with a one hell of robust front limbs to wrestle an opponent down to deliver the killer bite to the neck, the cougar would slaughter the lynx in a fight.

Although puma is bigger, heavier I don-t believe its bits force is somehow significanlty bigger than from the lynx. It would hurt more lynx then vice versa, but to kill it I really doubt 2/10 cases. Even whole pride of lions have problem with leopards, where lion is 3-5 times heavier. To me eurasian lynx is more powerful/stronger than cheetah and a full grown healthy male specimen will give pretty good fight to any puma.
