A look at how much I earned working for Dolly, why it seemed like a great option at the time and why I ultimately quit the app.

I recall a very specific move on the app that happened to be my last move.

🤯Wow. Excellent video! You hit all key elements and perspectives on the head with this video! Speechless! I've been working for Dolly 5 yrs plus! Still go hard with them now! I see $1, 500 weekly paydays (Dolly job plus tips) I do have my own truck (Helper). When I first started Dolly I took on a job I fully didn't know the scope of. (Lifting a treadmill) and pulled my back awful!😬. I learned from that and only take on light jobs that aren't dangerous or way heavy. The most important thing you stated is let Dolly be a stepping stone for something bigger. Use your mind not your body to make 🤑.✌🏼

I totally relate dude with the back pain/issues. It is the biggest reason why I'm really iffy of trying the handyman type of apps because all it takes is one slip up and you're out for a good minute. Health is wealth!

I new it!!! Yeah I work for a junk removal company for 3 years. That company beat the shit out of me. I started my own drunk removal company since then. I'm trying to use Dolly to help get some extra money during the slow season. Got to take care of your body man best of luck to you.

None of them apps are worth it. Start your business, promote in NEIGHBORHOOD APP, and social media.
The delivery apps are confusing for customers and their customer service is 🗑. Cut out the middle man.

When you deadlift 250kg and do strongman, moving is easy 😁 Hopefully you are better now dude 👍

I hurt my back pretty bad when I was in the Army when I was early 20's and all my life I had issues at least once a year. Sometimes it was just sore and sometimes I would have to go to the doctors in a wheel chair. People take care of yourself cause you only have ONE body. I have not had any lower back pain or issues for at least 6 years and I am afraid of why and when it happens again.

I might have done this but Dolly doesn't accept passenger vans. Not sure why not when they accept completely open pick-up trucks and trailers. I'd be interested in the logic behind their restriction.

I'm about to try this app hopefully I qualify, I have an 18ft box truck with lift gate, I have blankets, syringe wrap, tape, dollys, four wheeler, straps, etc like a legit moving company. I'm proffesional mover I been doing it for 3 years and yep overtime your back feels it my lower back gets tensed a lot even in my days off specially cus I drink too much and don't exercise or eat healthy anymore 😂😢 money is good tho 🤷‍♂️ if you need moving services in the seattle area feel free to hit me up 👍😃✌

Unfortunately if you want to use your truck for household moving you need a household goods permit which is expensive. If you get caught without the permit it’s a heavy fine . Another option is commercial delivery which you just need a common carrier permit which is much cheaper than a household goods permit . I drove professionally for Mayflower many years ago and had to have all the state permits and licenses. It’s a very regulated business. I was fortunate never to get injured but we did have to get certified as a mover and learn a lot of tricks of the trade that will save your back . I always recommend that anyone who wants to do moving as a job to go work with a major moving company first and get the proper training before you go independent. It will help with using proper technique and hopefully save You from injury . Believe it or not, you can become a skilled mover .

In HR for a temp company, I used to hire at least 10 new movers a week to a 50 man crew. 20% turn over - every single week. It's brutal work, especially working for van lines with huge 20, 000+ pound loads of furniture that have to be loaded and unloaded. Each week, several backs would snap and I'd show them their contract that they signed; releasing the temp company from all liability. They were on their own once they got hurt.

I thought you were going to talk about the house hold goods issue in Seattle that limits jobs

I would not waste my time making only $40 per hour using my own truck. That is too low, plenty of work making $100 per hour plus. You need to make more if you use your own vehicle.
