I feel like the audience cheering adds a lot to the eery feeling to me. This a dude saying he wants to kill his love interest essentially by saying he wants to disappear with his “new magic wand” and he feels hes getting encouraged to do it. Like in his mind hes thinks the public would encourage his ideas like hes deluding it.

The live intro to NEW MAGIC WAND goes so unbelievably hard it’s crazy. If it was like this in the album version I would lose it everytime this song plays. Can’t wait to see him perform it on tour, it’s gonna be unreal.
