Ural sidecar motorcycles are known for handling the most challenging terrain, but the 2018 Ural Air Limited Edition will help riders explore more – on the ground and in the air. With the push of a button, a specially designed compartment by Stratasys opens to reveal a DJI Spark drone. Using a specially configured RAM Mount, the drone’s controller is held firmly in place.

This is constructive criticism from a friend of the marque, not an insult:
Quit focusing on gimmicks, like "western" blankets, solar panels, drones and other crap the bikes don't need.
PLEASE focus on quality, engineering and thereby the customer experience that this brand so dearly needs to grow/exist.

Any chance of making/selling a 2 wheeled URAL again ? I have no use for a sidecar but love your motorcycles.

Focus on quality control. This is a badass machine - especially off-road. I would take this over an ATV any day. I'm surprised no one else offers a sidecar motorcycle. The electric version would be cool for the city.

Well, okay, but... how about something really cool, like a sturdy, single-point metal loop on the sidecar body behind the seat that I can tie in my dog's chest harness?
I know, I could just install that myself, but... if IMZ's going to spend money on stuff, why not simple, inexpensive things that have a more useful impact?

Hell, make a "canine edition", with a higher sidecar door, a padded bed that you can swap out the seat cushion for without special tools, and stuff like that? Maybe replace the shovel with a dog bowl mounted outside. Lots of people ride with their dogs in Urals and these would be much simpler and cheaper things that actually has a built-in market. That's just an example.

I never rode in my Gear-Up thinking, "I really wish I was driving an aircraft carrier".

This seems silly. I saw Urals when I was a kid and my dad simply told me that Urals were utilitarian, rugged, affordable, go anywhere bikes that you can fix with basic tools. That's what made them so cool to me for all my life, this is just gimmicky.

I can't believe peoples lack of humor and fun. The Ural engineers are over there having a blast making great ads and videos. They add OARS and sharks teeth and they offer machine gun mounts for the "hood" of the sidecar. They poke fun at political correctness. They have a design motif model now called the FRWL model. (FromRussiaWithLove). They are spoofing a damn James Bond movie. Comes complete with a "Russian Operatives" name embroidered on the sidecar dash board. Lighten Up, People! I intend to buy one someday and I'm going to be grinning from ear to ear.

This seems dumb. You mean to tell me you sacrifice a potential spot for a spotlamp for a fucking drone? Uhmmm... who the hell at the Ural headquarters was like "yes I agree with this, this is good!" Lmao, this is ridiculous!

Dont buy this if you plan on using a Ural for it's intended purpose, HOWEVER, this could, WITHOUT A DOUBT, be worth to purchase for a collection. 50 years down the road, this very gimmicky AIR Ural could be worth some big bucks for collectors just because of its obscurity. I dont imagine them selling many of these or creating any more in the future.
