I recently bought 3 pairs of gloves from Sullivan Glove. Buffalo Roper (L), Chore Glove (L) and the Elk Roper Lined (XL). The quality, fit and craftsmanship of the gloves I received was outstanding. For anyone buying lined gloves I highly recommend you buy one size up from your hand measurement. Tight gloves are cold gloves in the winter. Unlined gloves buy based on your hand measurement. The Elk skin gloves are buttery soft and very pliable. The Buffalo is definitely stiffer and has less stretch, but they break in very well and so far have been very durable. The Chore Gloves surprisingly are very pliable and comfortable for having two layers of leather. I was expecting them to be very stiff at the beginning. I applied one coat of Snoseal to the Buffalo Ropers and Chore gloves, and 2 coats to the Lined Elk Ropers. It did slightly darken the Elkskin, but I actually prefer it over the lighter color. Other than that, there were no other noticeable changes in the feel or performance of the gloves.

Just checked out your site and dude your designs are really creative, the finishing looks great, and the leather options are vast. Good work man.

You should check out Vermont gloves. I did a video of mine around 6 months ago.

You've given some solid reviews on boots, have made me look into these gloves, and made me realize I wanted a shell cordovan wallet. Can you point me in the right direction for a leather jacket?

2:04 damn me too
Anything that fits my palm has a half inch of flop and anything that fits my fingers makes my palm fold like an envelope. The _only_ pair of any type I've ever had fit well were these really supple Tillman tig welding goat (kid maybe?) skin gloves - not suited for *anything* other than sitting at a bench and mitigating some heat, even damn gardening gloves are uncomfortable. I used my beat up backup pair when working on my car one time and the grease/oil alone just trashed them, stiff and stained and worthless for anything else after that - at least I won't feel bad now about _really_ ruining them
I have no use for something proper so it's hard to shell out the money for a custom fit - but I'd like to have them for when the need arises.
These look nice and don't break the bank thanks for the review (buffalo leather is fantastic btw, just gorgeous)

I just cut my thumb pretty badly with a razor trying to channel a leather insoles to make some hand welted shoes. I was thinking of Maybe getting some Sullivan gloves to wear on my off hand for when I’m using a sharp blade on odd angles. Obviously I need better technique too, but I can’t afford to get 12 more stitches in this thumb so I want some insurance. Since you are obviously a leather worker yourself and you own the gloves, do you think they would be beneficial for that application.
