I bought these on Amazon Warehouse for $70 bucks and added the Senhieser GX1000 amp and I'm willing to bet they now sound better than the Artics Pro + Dac.


I'm no audiophile but this was a huge life hack for great audio while saving money. (This plus the amp was $220 for me while the Pro's currently are going for $275-$315)

Quick suggestion: It'll be cool to see you put out some videos on the Meltdown and Spectre patches and PC performances concerns after the patch. Seems like all the other major channels are at CES. I know a couple of them did videos but it'll cool to see your take. Keep it up.

Yo, this is the first headset review I've watched from you and you are seriously good at it. I'm into audio and find that most of the headset reviews I see from other techtubers either glaze over the important aspects ("the sound is good!") or they just completely don't mention certain things. That "list of things these don't do" part of the review was perfect. Its one thing to talk about what's great about a headset at this price point, but focusing on what they don't do or features they lack vs the competition is super important and something other reviewers rarely touch on.

I had high hopes for this headset as possibly being the first wireless I would consider buying (I'm more of a wired only guy because I value sound quality), but the lack of key features and the price kill it for me. The price of this headset doesn't make much sense vs the competition.

Great review! Going to watch some of your other peripheral reviews, but I have a feeling I'll enjoy them.

Great review mate, I just picked these up cheap in the black friday sale and I'm very happy with them. My biggest complaints are the lower volume on PS4, what is it with hyper X and PS4 having low volume? I've had that problem with the stingers cloud 2 and cloud PS4. They also distort abit with big explosions as the cloud 2s did to. And the mic not working wired hurts. But overall these things rock and for music they destroy the other hyper X headsets. Next headset please make them Bluetooth and wireless up the volume or just update these ones and for the love of God let us use them wired on Xbox one with mic support.

Good review! I bought it yesterday ($130 slightly used in Sweden) and really like the headset. You CAN listen to the microphone btw if you activate "listen" in recording devices settings in windows. I'm using Equalizer APO (with Peace GUI) for my equalizing needs (check guides on youtube). With those problems checked for me I only see two drawbacks which is the lack of battery indicator and no software for surround (and no software in general, requiring workarounds).

I could not find any better wireless headphones in the pricerange. Best sound out of the box. Better comfort and sound than Arctis 7. Arctis 7 fits badly over the ears and the headband sucks imo. I tried GSP 600 form sennheiser as a wired option but they are crazy heavy on top of the head with really thin memory foam that quickly makes your head hurt (otherwise excellent sound, mic and all that).

Anyway, keep up the good work with the reviews.

Great review bro! I'm using the Corsair Void Pro RGB wireless. I LOVE them! I have a big melon head and I can wear these for hours without feeling like my head is in a vice. I bought my son the Logitech G933 wireless, but find the Corsair to be far more comfortable, . I know you like Corsair products and I can tell you the quality is here. Do you think you can get your hands on a pair to review/compare to the wireless sets you've already reviewed? I think the VOID PRO RGB will stack up very well - especially for melon heads!

Down to $79 on Amazon as a limited deal makes these a steal. I just bought the CloudX Flight which is the newly released Xbox One version of these. HyperX listened to some complaints as there is now game/chat balance on the left ear cup. Also added a led ring to the microphone which illuminates red when muted. Hated not knowing if microphone was on or off with the original. Sadly still no indication of battery life remaining. Not that much of an issue for me as I only play about 4hrs a day and just charge them every few days.
