Shape-Shifting Liquid Robots Have Arrived #shorts

Показать описание
Engineers have created a little humanoid robot that can transform from solid to liquid and back again using magnetic fields. Called a “magnetoactive solid-liquid phase transitional machine," this malleable material is made by embedding magnetic particles in a metal called gallium. Gallium melts at just 29.8 degrees celsius, and by using induction, engineers can control it more precisely than ever. The escaping robot is just one of several tests conducted by the research team involving engineers from the USA's Carnegie Mellon University and the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

How ufo’s are made and used. The shell is made of this stuff and a magnet force under. Explains the ufo sightings and how small they are. Unmanned drones using this tech to move at fast speeds. If you partially liquefy an object that is moving through air, it can form and move with the air running around it smoothly basically giving it no wind resistance. Makes too much sense to me.

We are scared, surprised and intrigued, but some years ahead into the future it will probaly be normal to see a robot doing social works on the streets, inside working areas making your coffee or shipping you something, and having a companion or janitor robot inside your house which you treat like the pet of the family.

They can make a t-1000, but the camera is from the 1960s?

So it's just a liquid version of magnetic thinking putty? Ok don't see why that's so impressive, isn't one definition of a robot is a machine that can function automatically and perform tasks but this cannot function automatically, the T-1000 in the Terminator was nanotechnology manipulating a liquid metal medium designed specifically for it, we already know how to make incredibly small computers so why not just make really stupid small computers Link them together like a swarm inside of a medium that they can control and I think that's what we should really be focused on.

What else could it achieve? It could be used as a weapon....in horrifying new ways. Guarantee you the government figures out those ways with the quickness...

Im in an AI rabbit hole and I cannot crawl back out! 😮

This stuff in the wrong hands or used for war...but used right the future will be unrecognisable in a great way.
