I remember my dad saying, never trust a man who’s “never lost a fight”

My Krav instructor would say “the first rule of fighting is there are no rules. The second rule is don’t lose”

My father's wise words to me. Doesn't matter what you do, a fight for your life is a fight without rules.

Truer words have never been spoken “ if you haven’t ever lost a fight you haven’t been in many “.

at least you are man enough to admit you have lost fights. I hate those guys that brag constantly about how tough they are and no one can take them. I'm sure everyone has come across guys like that.

Dad taught me a long time ago the only winner to a fight is the one who can walk away. He didn't mean that in the walk away nonviolent way, he meant if you gotta pick up a rock, a brick, or a broken bottle, you do what it takes to make it home to those who love you. Whatever it takes.

I learned at a young age that there are no rules in a fight, and use any means necessary to come out on top. Learned that from my dad, uncle, and older cousins who all did tours in Vietnam.

Even the ones I lost, the other knew I was there.

You ain't gotta stand tall, but you gotta stand up.

I'm not too old to fight anymore, but I'm too old to lose anymore. That shit hurts the next day.

I actually witnessed a man bite another man's testicles while caught in a grapple. It immediately gave him superhuman strength and fists doubled his attack speed.

I've definitely lost more than I've won but everybody I've ever fought, on God, they'll never forget me...

Listen if you stand up for yourself that makes a difference. It's better to win but sometimes you won't.

My bro in prison had downsyndrome and was very small but he had balls of steel and fists of concrete speed of the flash and a heart of gold he had so much respect from the whole camp it was known that anyone who messed with him had to answer to the whole camp, including the CO'S who had the respect of all inmates, 😅❤

This reminds so much of establishing the pecking order when I was in jr high school. It really didn't matter if you won or lost because they knew you would fight. Of course winning was best, but if you didn't fight you just got picked on. For me that was the early 60's, I'm sure things are very different now.

Breaking something is usually a good idea in a fight like that. It tells people that if you try to fight me I could break your arm or worse. It will also take the other guy a while to try to get revenge if he’s petty like that.
