I have a 2017 ttr 125 my first dirtbike, im 5'6 and somewhere 115 pounds to 120 it works fine its just a very heavy bike, but the suspension works great, just got done changing the oil, filling her up with gas, cleaning and oiling the air filter, and cleaning and lubing the chain, shes ready for a rip now!

(Edit: I don't know why I commented this 8 years ago. On another note, I still have the bike, but I stepped away from bikes in favor of quads. Best damn decision I ever made. Got away from the toxic bike culture and am doing something just as difficult and just as fun. I advise others to do the same).

Would this be a good starter bike for me? I am 5'4, about 110 pounds. I need a bike to learn on, I'm not going to do much intense stuff, mostly just dirt roads. This is a very cheap bike used, about $1, 000 which is well in my budget. Is it worth that price and do you think it would keep me occupied for say year and a half or so until I can get my license? Thanks

Got me one of these, needs a new carb right now because the overflow valve leaks when its not running. Also got a high performance air filter and performance jets. I hate carbs, but these things are peppy for 125 4 strokes.

I weigh 180 lbs and I am 5, 7 I have a 2002 ttr125, I have hit 73mph because I know how to shift properly. Also I have a lot of upgrades that have taken more than 1k from me :( but they were worth it :). I have beaten 250’s and a couple of 250 2 strokes. Here’s the list of upgrades:
-Renthal 15/54t sprocket
-BBR chain
-White Brothers R4 full exhaust system
-twin air filter
-new swing arm
-Dunlop tires
-New rear shock
I also change the oil after every 25 rides.

I want a ttr125L so bad! Right now I have a Baja Dirtrunner 70. I've had it since I was 8. I'm 12 years old now and it's way too small for me. I'm about 5'4 so I think it would be a good upgrade from my 70cc.

nice job at riding bro, i have the same bike as well and a jump thats a decent size, my brother has a kx 85 2 stroke 2016, he let me ride it for a bit and i was so amazed of how fast it was. nice vid i will subscribe
