Every time a baseball player on another team that plays at Yankee Stadium in The Bronx gets 2 strikes they put the strike 2 banner on the led screen and sound the siren and then everyone that’s a Yankee fan gets up and claps to the Yankees to strike out the opponent team and this is why the Yankees were in first place this past year we all chanted FIRST PLACE YANKEES! FIRST PLACE YANKEES! FIRST PLACE YANKEES! FIRST PLACE YANKEES! FIRST PLACE YANKEES! FIRST PLACE YANKEES! Unfortunately the Yankees didn’t go to the World Series as well as the championships but they went to the ALDS and the ALCS tournaments featuring Aaron Judge hitting 62 home runs in one season, he beat Babe Ruth and Roger Maris’s records of 60 and 61 home runs in one season in 1927 and 1961, Babe Ruth worn #3 and Roger Maris worn #9 on the Yankees now Ruth worn #3 on the Red Sox when he played for Boston before being traded to the Highlanders in 1920 after playing for the Boston Red Sox for 5 years from 1914-1919, in 1935 Babe Ruth retired from MLB baseball from the Boston Braves which are now the Atlanta Braves, the worst trade off in MLB history was when Babe Ruth sign onto the Yankees in 1920 from the Red Sox, but overall when he built Yankee Stadium in 1922, on April 18th 1923 Yankee Stadium had its grand opening to all baseball football soccer and lacrosse fans of all 50 states in the USA including all baseball football soccer and lacrosse fans in Canada and around the world, in October of 1923 Yankee Stadium hosted their first ever football game of Syracuse vs Pittsburgh, this upcoming Veterans Day will mark the 100th anniversary of the first ever college football game at the original Yankee Stadium, the New York Yankees hosted NFL games of their own football team aka the New York Yankees NFL team for 3 years from 1926-1929 and then went fully to college football again, in 1956 the Dodgers won against the Yankees at Yankee Stadium, now the Giants and Dodgers played in New York until they moved to California so the Dodgers were called the Brooklyn Dodgers and the Giants were called the New York Giants the Giants had their affiliate NFL team aka the New York Giants so only the Yankees and the Giants had a football team for a short time when the New York Yankees moved out of NFL football permanently and went back to full time baseball in 1929, in 1964 the New York Mets came along replacing both the Giants and the Dodgers so their logo is from the Giants when they were the New York Giants and their color is from the Dodgers when they played in Brooklyn. The Mets had a stadium called Shea Stadium built near where Citi Field is which is Yankee fans call Citi Field Shitty Field because they suck, but their Stadium is nice and big as their oldest sister team aka the Yankees, both the 1964 Shea Stadium and the 1923 Yankee Stadium were closed in 2008 and were at the start of demolition in 2009, they played at their new stadiums in April 2009 the Mets at the new Citi Field and the Yankees at the new Yankee Stadium, Shea Stadium had the most hilarious demolition ever when the s was removed from the word stadium and just said tadium which was so funny, also Aaron Judge owns Tijuan Walker who also is #99 but on the Mets as a pitcher, in 2009 Brian Bruney worn #33, #34, #38 and was the last Yankee to wear #99 before Aaron Judge Brian Bruney was a pitcher for the Yankees until he got traded in 2010.
