What a wonderful video! Emotionally powerful as well.... you hear it all the time but just reflecting on just how much technology has changed and continues to change, shape, and mold our world today... It's beautiful and inspiring.

Whats amazing though is how all these have migrated into a single device,   a typical Smart Phone,   Is a communication device, a GPS, a video recorder, a MP3 player, a dictation device,   a camera,   its also your note pad, Television, and library.
and of course a gaming gadget.    computing power is still a bit limited compared to home PCs,   but with cloud computing around the corner, they will be as or more powerful than the best desktop PC, s.

What people just need to stop doing is, texting while driving.

My first computer was a Commodore 64 that I bought myself—for about $700, believe it or not! I'd won a cash prize for my work on my professional education and that's what did with it. Hmmm—that would have been in late 1982 or early 1983—and I purchased a dual floppy drive unit at the same time. Total purchase wasn't far off $1500. Crazy world! A bit later my husband bought me an SX 64 "portable" Commodore—more like luggable!!! And after that a C128. Kept that in my desk at my office and helped my director do spreadsheets using Multiplan.
