When I originally heard about the movie, I was like "ah yeeee. Nathan Fillion got his shot!" Then I saw the casting and was confused as fuck.

Nathan Fillion and Nolan North (the voice actor from the game) have VERY similar voices. Plus Nathan Fillion looks a lot like Nathan Drake. There’s no good reason that he wasn’t cast for the movie. A big mistake by the producers.

Sony commented and said Nathan Fillion is too old and they wanted someone younger to do multiple films. Thing is Holland has now taken a break from Hollywood and wants to focus on Spiderman films. I personally think he didn’t like how hard he had to work on Uncharted and would rather just put a suit on and do a bunch of green screen. But that’s just me. But this is Sony opportunity in my opinion to do a time jump and cast Nathan Fillion he could still do a movie and maybe recast Mark too. Stephan Lang was a pretty good Sully.

I’ve always thought he’d be perfect, the short is better than the whole feature movie, Fillion absolutely nails the character. The short is written really well too, offering dialogue that could be straight from the game. They also nail the Drake and Sully relationship too

I have forgotten about the Uncharted movie.
That's how much I liked it.
What a disaster.
However I absolutely enjoyed the 15 minutes fan film that gave me the feeling I was in one of the games.

Filion was perfect. Looks and attitude.
The whole package.
What a shame.

When they go through with the sequel, end it there and then the next 2-3 movies, fast forward in time to when Nathan Drake is older and then cast Fillion as the older version of Nathan Drake. It'd be dope asf
